Two Bold Goals for a Mom Entrepreneur

Are you a Mom Entrepreneur?
Have you ever wanted to do something bold?

If you want to grow, go after your goal. Five years ago, I was invited to write out my lifetime goals. It was a very meaningful experience for me. The most monumental thing that I realized was that I wanted more kids. I was very surprised by this revelation.

My First Bold Goal:  Another child!

Raising my son was extremely tiring for me. It took all of my awareness to just stay one step ahead of him. He was brilliant, creative, daring, resilient, and innocent. What would my life be like if we had another child in the family?

I didn’t know what was on the other side of that desire. I didn’t anticipate my rigorous schedule for the next few years, launching my business, running my household, attending training seminars. My husband and I crossed paths but not as often as we had imagined, considering my goal of getting pregnant. It happened, and we were hugely blessed with a little girl. She is pure unconditional love and as much as a gift to me as she is to the world. Having her has made me grow. I am so glad I had her on my list of goals.

My Second Bold Goal:  A Best Selling Book!

My goals list also included having a best-selling book. I had no idea what this was even about. I did not consider myself a writer, let alone a best selling author. I wasn’t even sure I should put it on the page, but I did anyway.

I didn’t know what was on the other side of that desire. I found that books came in all shapes and sizes, electronic, printed, audio, published, self-published, etc. It was a very full journey. I am also glad I had this as one of my goals.

Introducing My Goal/Book:  The Mommy Advantage

Next week I will sharing my book with the world. It’s called The Mommy Advantage: How Having Kids Can Make You Happier, Healthier, and Wealthier. I am excited and very, very, very uncomfortable. That’s a great sign because I know I’m growing.

Writing this book is one of the best growth experiences I’ve had as a Mom, an Entrepreneur, and as a woman with a goal. In The Mommy Advantage, I offer a growth model of parenting that transforms the challenges of having kids into an experience of expansion and manifestation.
